(SPL) is an Alberta-based, full-service construction firm specializing in general construction, design-build, and construction management services. SPL is focused on the commercial construction market, including major and structural construction and tenant improvements, and has been in business for more than 29 years as the original construction arm within SGC.

Synergy Projects is looking for a driven, organized, and team‑focused Project Manager to guide projects from concept to completion. You’ll work with talented site teams, passionate clients, and industry‑leading partners — all while helping shape the spaces where Albertans live, work, and thrive.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead commercial construction projects through planning, execution, and close‑out.

  • Build schedules, track progress, and keep the whole team aligned and informed.

  • Manage contracts, changes, RFIs, procurement, and subtrade coordination.

  • Keep an eye on budgets, costs, and invoicing to ensure projects stay on track.

  • Host project meetings and build strong, lasting relationships with clients and consultants.

  • Champion safety and quality on every site.

  • Deliver a smooth, organized, and positive wrap‑up at project completion.

Working Conditions

  • Extended periods of computer work may be required.

  • Travel to construction sites as needed; valid driver’s license required.

  • Occasional overtime to meet project deadlines.

  • Site work may include exposure to outdoor conditions, walking, climbing, lifting, and PPE use.

What You Bring

  • A degree or diploma in construction, engineering, or a related field (or comparable experience).

  • 3–5 years of construction experience — coordination, estimating, or site roles are all great foundations.

  • Experience with commercial, industrial, institutional, or multi‑family projects.

  • Clear communication, strong organization, and a knack for problem‑solving.

  • Professional designations (P.Eng, CET, PMP, Gold Seal) are an asset, not a requirement.
