The Position:
Synergy Group of Companies is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to actively support the marketing objectives of the Sales and Marketing Team. This position reports directly to the Marketing Manager, will provide administrative support to the Sales and Marketing Team, and will work with internal and external stakeholders on sales and marketing events and brand development.
Salary Range:
This is a salary position and pay will be based on experience and qualifications.
Primary Accountabilities:
Support the Marketing Manager in all marketing objectives.
Assist with internal and external communications, marketing materials, content creation, and event coordination.
Assist in brand development and ensure brand consistency on all internal and external communication.
Provide support to the Sales and Marketing Team as required.
Assist in all aspects of digital marketing, especially social media (tracking and reporting of social accounts).
Manage ongoing tracking and reporting of marketing activities.
Other duties as required.
Skills Required:
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is preferred, especially Adobe Indesign, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
Photo editing skills are preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Experience with CRM software is an asset.
Proficiency with video conferencing / webinar skills (ie. Teams, Zoom) is an asset.
Strong understanding of administrative and operational principles and practices.
Demonstrated ability to manage key stakeholder relationships, including customers, business partners, clients, etc.
Able to identify key issues; creatively and strategically overcome internal and external challenges or obstacles.
Knowledge of personnel policies, practices, and procedures.
Effective attention to detail, organizational skills, and a high degree of accuracy.
Highly developed ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, presentation skills along with MS computer skills.
Able to self-manage and/or work well in a team environment, ability to think critically and creatively.
Education:
A degree in business or a similar discipline, Bachelor of Commerce would be preferred.
2 – 5 years’ related experience in marketing, social media, and/or event coordination.
Experience with B2B marketing is an asset.
An equivalent combination of skills and experience may be considered.
