Development of Casino and Travel Plaza in Whitecourt, Alberta.

Synergy Projects completed the development of the Eagle River Casino and Travel Plaza, which included significant site development and environmental consideration. This site operates independent water treatment facilities and sewage treatment facilities. The protection of the surrounding landscape was key to the project’s success. Wildlife protection included planning for increased highway traffic and traffic flow around the site. The Casino building of approximately 40,000 sq.ft. includes gaming areas, full commercial kitchen/restaurant, lounge, and related administrative support areas, vault and offices. The remote location was the main challenge our team had to face as no power and sewer were available during the construction period.
